1. The Service

CIS Comply is a record-keeping tool for UK construction contractors. It is designed to help users log subcontractor due diligence under the Construction Industry Scheme.

2. Not Legal or Tax Advice

CIS Comply is not a law firm, accountancy practice, or tax adviser. Nothing in the app or generated reports constitutes legal or tax advice. You must consult a qualified accountant or solicitor for CIS compliance advice. CIS Comply does not file returns with HMRC.

3. Subscriptions

  • Free plan: no charge, no card required
  • Paid plans billed monthly or annually via Stripe
  • Cancel anytime — downgrade takes effect at end of billing period
  • No refunds for partial billing periods
  • Price changes with 30 days notice

4. Acceptable Use

  • Must be a UK-based construction contractor or professional adviser
  • Must not use to store fraudulent, false, or misleading records
  • Must not share login credentials
  • Must not attempt to access other users' data

5. Data and Records

  • You own your data. We process it on your behalf.
  • HMRC requires CIS records kept for 3 years minimum.
  • We are not responsible for data you fail to export before account deletion.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CIS Comply's total liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for HMRC penalties, tax assessments, or compliance failures arising from your use or non-use of the service.
